6 X 2025 J6 Petillant Marsanne

Winemaking Notes

Made from Marsanne picked on the 12^th of February 2025. The grapes were harvested early in the morning and pressed while still cold, limiting any extraction. The resulting juice was settled overnight and then separated, only the ‘clears’ were used to maximise aromatic potential and flavour purity. The juice then underwent a careful slow fermentation at low temperature before being put into bottle and sealed on the 28^th of February 2024, prior to the end of alcoholic fermentation. The bottles were disgorged mid-May with no dosage. 853 bottles produced.

The J6 range of wines has been created by, Benjamin Jones the 6th Generation of the Jones family who have owned and operated Jones Winery & Vineyard for over 90 years. All wines are crafted from estate grown, unirrigated vines and undergo minimal fining or filtration.
