Tasting Notes

Deep, crimson in colour with lovely richness and fullness of flavor. It has savoury-earthy notes, licorice and star anise with strong, spicy, savory and ripe tannins on the finish.  Drink now or after 5-20 years. Great ageing potential.

This wine marries perfectly with lamb, game and slow cooked beef dishes. A delight with hard cheeses and venison.
