A very rich, luscious wine, full of complex characters derived from prolonged ageing in old oak casks. It has a dark amber brown colour with green rim. The intense raisin fruit, balanced with wood aged characters give this wine great depth and length of flavour.

Winemaking Notes
Only the very best lots of our Rutherglen Brown Muscat parcels go into the making of this wine. The grapes are picked when they are fully ripe with some raisining. They are then destemmed and macerated at a cool temperature. When the fermentation just starts we press off the juice and fortify it with a very neutral grape spirit. It is then carefully aged and blended, the balance older and younger materials adding to the great complexity and depth of the wine.

It is wonderful with dark, dark chocolate or enjoy the complexity of the wine on it's own.
