Lifted rose petal and spicy raisin fruit with freshness and yet complexity. A hint of development and a lovely luscious palate with a sweet yet clean finish and lovely lingering, muscat flavours.
The grapes are picked when they are fully ripe with some raisining. They are then destemmed and macerated at a cool temperature. When the fermentation just starts we press off the juice and fortify it with a very neutral grape spirit. It is then carefully aged and blended. Alc 18.5%, cellaring none.
It is wonderful with desserts made from caramel, toffee, chocolate and rich ice cream. Or just simply a coffee and petit fours.
