This wine is very versatile, anything from asparagus to antipasto to white meat and fish. These particular varieties and the style we have produced make the wine very food friendly.
Tasting Notes
A beautifully balanced wine. Aromas of honeysuckle, nutmeg and spicy fruit characters. The richly textured palate and delicate long fresh finish make this wine very enjoyable with many ‘difficult to match’ foods.
Winemaking Notes
Made from our estate grown fruit, after picking both varieties, were crushed then pressed. The juice produced (75% Marsanne, 25% Roussanne) was then placed in stainless steel tank and in older French Oak barrels. The wine was aged for 7 months with lees stirring periodically to enhance texture and complexity. Alc 11.7%, cellaring up to 8 years. Vegan
