Each dish is crafted with care, highlighting seasonal ingredients and the finest local produce. Paired with our exclusive wines, your dining experience promises to be nothing short of extraordinary.

Winter with the Joneses Wine Offers

Pre-Release Exclusive Offer 2022 L.J. Shiraz

The L.J. is our flagship wine and we are exceptionally proud of not only the wine itself, but the history that is entwined into its making.  

The 2022 L.J. is made from grapes grown in our vineyard planted in 1905. 

The shiraz and <5% of grenache grapes are harvested by hand, fermented together in our one-tonne wooden vats dating to 1860, hand-plunged then pressed.

An old vine marvel! Deep, crimson in colour with lovely richness and fullness of flavour. The 2022 L.J. Shiraz has savoury notes, deep red fruit  with strong, spicy, savoury and ripe tannins on the finish

Normally $100.00 per bottle, you can pre-order the 2022 L.J. Shiraz for the exclusive offer of $85.00 per bottle (minimum order of 6 bottles). That’s 15% off the normal price.

Step into our dining room, where each table tells a story. Our tables have names instead of numbers, each one with a unique heritage. Sit at Jimmy’s table, once part of our family home, or the Tuscan table, reminiscent of an old-world castle. Soupe à l’Oignon (French Onion Soup): A classic dish, rich with caramelised onions and topped with a golden, cheesy crust.

Jones Winery & Vineyard 2022 L.J. Shiraz Release Dinner

Annual L.J. Shiraz Dinner

Saturday 17th August (7:00 PM)

With limited places available, we would like to invite you to book your place at our annual L.J. Shiraz dinner on Saturday, 17th  August 2024.

This year we will be celebrating the release of the 2022 L.J. Shiraz. We are excited to be able to share this L.J. with you.

Chef Briony will create a sumptuous degustation menu designed to highlight the 2022 L.J. Shiraz and match the wines made by Mandy, Arthur and Ben.

Tickets for the dinner are $220 per person including wine, ($170 per person excluding wine).

L.J. Shiraz Retrospective Tasting

L.J. Shiraz Retrospective

Saturday 17th August (AM)

The Retrospective is an opportunity to discover the history of the L.J. Shiraz and savour a back-vintage tasting with Mandy, Arthur, and Ben.

Held the morning of Saturday, 17th August and limited to 15 people, bookings are essential and it is first in, best dressed.

$200.00 pp and a limit of two tickets per booking applies.

Dark Side of Wine

Durif Vertical Tasting

Delve into the mysteries of our boldest, most intriguing wines in a setting that complements their depth and complexity.

This event, presented in conjunction with the Winemakers of Rutherglen, offers a unique tasting experience, perfect for those who appreciate the richer side of winemaking.

From 2 August to 11 August, join us for a vertical tasting of the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021 Durif.

Available daily at our cellar door with bookings at 10am, 11am, 12 noon, 1pm, and 2pm, each session lasts 30 minutes.

Dark Side of Wine

Venture to the Dark Side Lunch

Venture to the Dark Side with Chef Briony over lunch at Jones Restaurant, matched to our Durif and Muscats.

From 2 August to 11 August at 1pm, enjoy a set menu featuring winter favourites made with stylish French panache.

The menu includes a Gruyere Twice Baked Souffle, Roasted ‘Kidden Park’ Goat Loin, and ‘Jones’ Muscat Sultana Crème Caramel.
